Responsible Gaming

Before You Start

Decide the amount you are willing to lose before you begin, and treat that money as already spent the moment you commit it. This removes the pressure of watching a running balance and makes stopping a matter of following a plan you made with a clear head, rather than a decision you have to make in the moment.

  • Set the amount in advance, away from any screen, and stick to it.
  • Never chase a loss by increasing the next stake to make up for the last one; the loss is already final.
  • Keep gambling money separate from rent, bills or any borrowed money, so a bad run cannot spread into the rest of your life.
  • Take breaks between sessions; a pause gives you time to notice whether you are still enjoying it or just continuing out of habit.

When It Stops Being Entertainment

If gambling starts to feel like something you need rather than something you chose, involve someone else early. A second person, whether a friend, a family member or one of the organisations listed below, can see the pattern more clearly than you can from inside it.

  • Notice if you are gambling to escape a bad mood rather than for enjoyment.
  • Notice if you are hiding the amount of time or money involved from people close to you.
  • Talk to someone before the situation feels urgent, not after.

Independent Help Organisations

Every page of this site, including this one, carries links to three independent gambling-help organisations: BeGambleAware, Gambling Therapy and GamCare. These are the only outbound links on the site that are not commercial. They carry no sponsored marking, they are set to nofollow, and they open in a separate tab on each organisation's own website. This site receives nothing when a reader follows them.

Age Restriction

The eighteen-and-over restriction is repeated throughout this site, including on the front page. It applies to everyone using any part of this site.

What Controls Live Elsewhere

Controls such as deposit limits, loss limits, reality checks, cooling-off periods or self-exclusion belong to an account held with an operator. This site has no account, no form and no server-side application behind it, so nothing published here can switch such a control on, check its status or enforce it. If you want any of these controls, they are arranged inside an account at the destination you reach after following an operator link.

Nobody's age is verified on this site and no gambling takes place on it; any check of that kind happens at the destination once you leave. Everything a reader can actually do with money happens after leaving this site: each operator link redirects to a third party, and from that point the destination's own rules, checks and account controls apply, not anything published here.

No advertising or behavioural profiling network is present on these pages, so nothing here is targeted at a reader based on risky behaviour. This site is a set of static files; it has no login, no registration and no user account, and the analytics it uses exist only to count page views and clicks on outbound buttons, not to build a profile of any individual visitor.
